NOTICE TO OUR READERS

Your reaction to world events, i.e., the stresses, sympathies, anger and grief that you are telling us in your email you feel, compels us to write this note to you.

We, also, are extremely stressed and grieved by world events.

We are particularly concerned about the Israel-Palestinian issue. To say that it is painful to us to witness the wholesale slaughter of Jews and Arabs is an understatement. It is an indescribable tragedy.

We intend to give equal space to both sides of the issue at USNewsLink.

When we give air to one side we receive angry email from the other, and vice versa. And it hurts us to read some of the email we are receiving.

But we understand it. We don't like it, but we understand it.

We do not believe that we deserve to have our readers dump their anger on us. We are an information vehicle. We give air to issues, all of the issues. We ask you to understand our motives and stop personalizing it.

If you must express your outrage, please direct it to our elected officials in Washington, DC, and to leaders of other countries. For it is they who can make necessary changes in governmental policies that are contributing to the violence in the middle east.

In the meantime, we will report events as they happen and offer information from all points of view.
